He was predeceased by: his parents, Hendrik Bulten and Everdina Bulten; his spouse Hendrikje "Hennie" Bulten; and his siblings, Tina Canniff and Everd Bulten.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Evelyn Allison (Gerald) of Big Island, Rita Valleau (Lawrence) of Picton, Bill Bulten (Darlene) of Belleville, Barb Huiskamp (Henry) of Bloomfield and Jake Bulten (Astrid); and his sister Rieke Talsma. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
