He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cole and Rose Cole; his wife Anne Cole; and his siblings, Edward, Harry Cole (Greta), Phyllis Stapley and Roseline McTaggart (Joe).
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Cole (Shari) of Point Anne, James Cole (Janet) of Belleville, Georgina Lewis (Paul) of Deseronto, Michael Cole (Gail) of Albany, N. Y. and Cynthia Coates (Peter) of Newmarket; and his siblings, Jack Cole (Joan), Barbara McCurdy (late Mac) and Carmel LaRoche (late Reg). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
