He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Attfield and Ralph Attfield; and his brothers, Robert and Mark. He is survived by: his wife Ella May; his daughters, Paula and Elizabeth (Timothy); the mother of his children Mary; his son-in-law Debashish; his stepsons, Keith (Derrick), Dan (Sue) and Grant (Karen); and his brother Peter. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Eastminster United Church (432 Bridge St E, Belleville, ON K8N1R1). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army or LighttheNight.ca, (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada).
