John Nanos Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Nanos (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nikitas Nanos and Eleni Nanos; and his siblings, Spiros, Kostandina, Dimitrios and Stavroula.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Eleni (Jim) and Nikitas (Lee); and his grandchildren, Ioanna, Stephanie and John.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (70 Harder Dr, Belleville, ON K8P4E7). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mount Evergreen Cemetery (61 Stockdale Rd, Trenton, ON K8V5P6). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Weaver Family Funeral Home (29 Bay St, Quinte West, ON K8V1H2).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in John's memory.
