He was predeceased by: his father John Douglas Reid; and his mother-in-law Ruth Roes. He is survived by: his wife Monica; his children, Victoria (Josh Hopkinson) of Peterborough and Joshua; his mother Bonnie Robinson (Brad); his father-in-law Rae Roes (Judy); his stepmother Mary Reid; his siblings-in-law, Tim Roes and Rachel Roes (Shaun Hummel); and his sibling Paul Reid (Melanie).

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted on behalf of the HASTINGS AND PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY LEARNING FOUNDATION - BAYSIDE SECONDARY SCHOOL.
