She was predeceased by: her parents, Duncan Richards and Jane Richards; her husband George Alexander Young; her granddaughter Sara; and her siblings, James Richards and Frances Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Andy (Sylvia), Doug (Helga), Cameron (Gail), Lorraine (Bill), Matthew (Janet) and Phil (Nicole); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Jennifer, Amanda, Meghan, Chris, Zak, Elisabeth, Laura, Jurgen, Agnes, Nick and Penny; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Richard, Aiden, Trevor, Phoebe, Sophie, Malcolm, Rosie, Nate and Murray; and her brothers, Donald Richards (late Anna) and Ian Richards (Carolyn).
