She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Ackerman and Ruth Ackerman; her sister Carol; and her nephew Fred. She is survived by: her husband David Chalmers; her siblings, Helen Morton (Allan) and Peter Ackerman (Dianne); and her friend Brooks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burke Funeral Home (150 Church St, Belleville, ON K8N3B9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to BGH Dr. Douglas A Macintosh Cancer Clinic, a cause close to Judy's heart, would be greatly appreciated.
