With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Klaas Ploegman of Belleville, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Klaas left this world on July 21, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ploegman and Grietje Ploegman; his girlfriend Edith Sedore; and his brother Fred Ploegman. He is survived by: his children, John Ploegman (Karen) and Tina Tremere; his granddaughter Marissa Krahan (Rick); his great grandchildren, Noah and Caleb Krahn; his siblings, Jane DeJong (late Klaas) and Peter Ploegman (Florence); and also Hilda Humphreys. He is also survived by the mother of his children and a dear friend.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Belleville (80 Highland Ave, Belleville, ON K8P3R4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (412 River Rd, Corbyville, ON K0K1V0).
