He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Chris (Kathy) of Sarnia, Lindsay of Belleville and Michael (Teri) of Stirling; his grandchildren, Lola, Jesse, Austin, Georgia and Gregory; his siblings, Joyce Pritchard (late Allen), Doris McCleery Hicks (Jim), Clare (Sheila) and Dave (Sue); and his friend Brian Johnston of Campbellford.

Memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward, Cancer Research or Hospice Quinte.
