She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dorrington and Emma Dorrington; her close friend Jack Dunford; her son LeRoy Lake (Wendy); her grandchildren, Patti (Steve), Stephen (Tammy), Katie (Greg) and Ian (Lindsay); and her siblings, Adelia (George), Margaret (Arthur), Joseph (Anne), Delbert (Anne), William (Amy), Charles (Ruby), Karl (Thelma), James (Lillian) and Ed (Rose).

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Dixon (James). She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Christ Church (39 Everett St, Belleville, ON K8P3K1).

If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.

I will always remember her pride in reaching 100 years of age, sharing her letter from the Queen, & all the stories that were a testament to how strong of a woman she had been throughout her life. She always cared about the staff that supported her as much as we cared for her. She was so capable & I was always so impressed with her willingness to continue doing as much as she could for herself as well as others. R.I.P.”
