It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilee Margaret Mitts (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Marilee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marilee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Grant Mitts. She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Monique) and Jeff (Lisanne); and her grandchildren, Julie (Eric), Patrick, Jack and Charlie. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (296 Church St, Belleville, ON K8N3C6). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. James Roman Catholic Cemetery (631 Dundas St W, Belleville, ON K8N4Z3). The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the St. James Catholic Cemetery (631 Dundas St W, Belleville, ON K8N4Z3).
