She was predeceased by: her parent William McMechan; and her sister Jean Murray (Dave). She is survived by: her parent Blanche McMechan; her stepparent Helen McMechan; her children, William Stewart (Cheryl), Katharine Luxon (John) and Sharon Thiffault (Denis); her brothers, Ken McMechan (Lois), Carl McMechan (Sharon) and Harold McMechan; her grandchildren, Meghan (James), Scott (Ellen), Todd, Jenna, Dustin (Alicia) and Valerie (Philip); and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Luke, Rowan and Lilliana.
