With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Lucas (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Lucas; her grandson Justin Lucas; her parents, Fern Begbie and Archie Begbie; and her brother Rodney Begbie.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Lucas, Ron Lucas (Susan) and Joanne Bristow; her grandchildren, Erika Lucas, Brody Colden, Darian Schwager Kendra Colden (Tyson), Emma Lucas, Alex Lucas and Logan Bristow; her great grandchildren, Eli and Kiren Schwager; her siblings, Sharon MacDonald (Tom) and David Begbie; and her sister-in-law Heather Gagnon.
