With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Priest (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on March 24, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Denison and James McLeod; her siblings, Margaret Barnes (Bruce) and Donald (Debbie); her husband Gordon Priest; her daughters, Karen Nickel (Curtis) and Nancy; her grandchildren, Kyle (Michelle), Colin (Isabelle), Kaileigh (Dave), Matthew (Drew) and Andrew (Kalina); and her great grandchildren, Dawson, Chloe, Aiden, Kalla, Emilia, Eliza, Ariel and Hunter. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, a memorial service for Betty will be held at a later date, at Burke Funeral Home (613-968-6968), 150 Church Street, Belleville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glanmore National Historic Site in Belleville, in Betty's memory. To make a Donation, please contact the Funeral Home directly, with Cash or Cheque, made out to the Glanmore National Historical Site.
