In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Lou shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Lou farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Hendershot and Ethelind Hendershot; her daughter Linda Jans (Mike); and her grandchildren, Sandy, Holland (Jacob) and Robin (Spencer).

Memorial donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or the David Suzuki Foundation.
