He is survived by: his children, Stephen Burke (Bev), Colleen Tripp (Burke), Sharon Burke, Michael Burke (Cheryl), John Burke (Norma) and Arlene; his sister Eleanor Hume; and his great grandchildren, Eddie Van Vliet, Hannah, Mitchell, Erik (Kelly), Isaac, Wyatt (Janice), Nathan, Tiffanie (Chris), Alexis (Angela), Stephanie (Grant), Mandy (Jason), Becky (Kevin), Ian (Andrea) and Jessica (Dave).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the SickKids Foundation, or the Belleville General Hospital, would be appreciated by the family.
