He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Reid and Jean Reid (Sutherland); and his sisters, Thora Spragg (Harold) and Marjorie Tudhope. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn (Lohnes); his children, Heather Rutherford (Dave), Douglas Reid (Teresa), Marjorie Scanlan and James Reid (Kim MacLeod); his grandchildren, Carol Anne (Jeff), Andrew Rutherford, Sydney Reid, Bryson Reid, Heather Scanlan, Kelly Scanlan (Matthew), Rebecca Reid and Lindsay Reid; his great grandchild Natalie Stapleton; his sister Elinor Mitchell (Ian); his brother-in-law Peter Tudhope; and his wife Carol. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
