He was predeceased by: his parent Henry Phieffer; and his brother Don Phieffer. He is survived by: his parent Annabelle Phieffer; his spouse Beth Phieffer; his children, James Phieffer (Kathy) of Belleville, Elizabeth Phieffer (Frank) of Belleville, Lura Turriff (Greg) of Belleville, Kathleen Down (Jeff) of Belleville, Emily, Joey, Hannah, Andy, Katie, Tim, Jacob, Matthew and Madison; his siblings, Rosemary Istead (Ken), Rick Phieffer (Adele), Fred Phieffer (Jayne) and Terry Phieffer; and his sister-in-law Marie.
Passed away at the QHC Belleville General Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2018 in his 78th year after a 4 year battle with Alzheimer's.
