He is survived by: his children, Lori (Doug), June (David) and Paul (Ingrid); his grandchildren, Shannon (Nick), Krystal (Rob), Stefanie (Sabina) and Shayne (Karen); his sister-in-law Margaret; and his goddaughter Suzanne.
In memory of Norm, donations may be made to any of his favourite charities: Salvation Army for sponsoring his grandmother as a First World War widow to immigrate from Scotland to Canada with her five children in 1923.
