He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Carmichael (Judy), Raymond Carmichael (Nancy), Robert Carmichael, Cathy Carmichael, Steven Carmichael (Sue), Ted Grimson (Patty) and Terry Grimson (Kim); and his siblings' children, Kim, Patrick, Ebon, Maggie, Stephen, Sarah, Enid, Cody, Taylor, Emily, Michael, Christopher, Jodie, Emma, Andrew, Laura and Jeff.
