Peggy June Harder Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2025, Peggy June Harder (Belleville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Plumton and Bessie Plumton; her husband Maitland Harder; her siblings, George (Bud), Clarence (Ike), Douglas, Floyd Plumton (Plumpton) and Dona Plumton; and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn, Ruthe, Hilda Plumton (Plumpton), Thelma, Viola, Gloria, Anna, Theresa Harder, Rita Drews, Clara Hoskin, Harry Bronson, Byron, Harrison, Douglas, Walter, Richard (Dick), Winfield Harder, George Cunningham, Rollie Larson and Thorold Hoskin.

She is survived by: her children, Dexter (Karen), Ralph (Anne), Eric (Annette), Neil (Melanie), Elaine (late Grant Mumby) and Owen (Jacqueline); her sister Kathleen Bronson (Kit); and her siblings-in-law, Diane Plumpton, Rena Cunningham, Nettie Larson, Joan Harder and Max Drews. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Westminster United Church (1199 Wallbridge Loyalist Rd, Belleville, ON K8N4Z5).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Westminster United Church or to QH-Belleville General Hospital (Oncology Unit) would be appreciated by the family.
