She was predeceased by: her parent David Kane; and her spouse Robert "Bob" Smith. She is survived by: her parent Margaret Kane; her children, Janice Guthrie (Bill) of Oshawa, Nancy Hearns (Michael) of Belleville and Brian Smith of Belleville; her sister Margaret Jones (late Myrddin) of Pennsylvania; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Kane of Sudbury and Joyce Kane of Peterborough.
