He was predeceased by: his wife Constance Miller (Veitch); his parents, Albert Miller and Minnie Miller; and his siblings, Albert Miller and Beverly Morton.

He is survived by: his son Daniel William Miller (Amanda Miller-Maracle) of Belleville; his sister Emily Gabriel; and his grandsons, Chayton and Drayce Miller-Maracle.
