He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughter Jennifer Hurst Fraser (Scott); his grandsons, Evan (Nicole) and Carson; his daughter Melanie Feasby (Scott); his grandchildren, Brooklynn (Parker) and Kennedy; his daughter Sarah Hurst (Amey); his brothers, James Hurst (Joanne) and David Hurst (Ilona); and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Little (Ted) and Pat Cassidy (Peter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, neighbours, and lifelong friends.

“I lived next door to the Hursts when I first moved to Belleville in 1973. I met up with him years afterwards at the Food bank. I was just at their house visiting the folks a few weeks ago, and I only heard about his passing today. I'd like to offer my condolences to Jennifer and all the family members for their family loss.”
