He was predeceased by: his parent William Robertson; his grandchildren, Olivia and Brandon; and his siblings, William, George and John.

He is survived by: his parent Jeanie Robertson; his spouse Mary Robertson; his children, Eve Jelley (Pete) and Scott Richard Robertson; and his grandchildren, Cameron and Bryce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
