She was predeceased by: her parents, Columb Butler and Rita Butler; her husband Stephen John Garvin (Moe); her children, John (Patti), Joanne (late Ken), Maureen (Desi), Diane (Brian) and Lynn (Roger); her stepmother Dora; her son Stephen Gerald Garvin (Karen); her siblings, Joseph, Columb (Gerald), John, Mary and Sister Maureen O. S. U.; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Barry, Al Sobie and Mary Kay Butler.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Anne, Stephen, Ben, Natalie, Joshua, Jennifer, Rachel, Meghan, Liam, Lily, Jessica and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Halle, Raelynn and Mackenna; her siblings, Rose Barry, Wilfred Butler, Margie Kingsland (Peter) and Michael Butler; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Butler and Jeannine Butler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burke Funeral Home (150 Church St, Belleville, ON K8N3B9). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church (296 Church St, Belleville, ON K8N3C6).

Memorial floral donations are welcome, as are donations to the Catholic Women's League of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Belleville.
