He was predeceased by: his parent James Colden; his wife Emily Colden; his siblings, Nora Colden, Norman Colden, Lulu Anderson (Arnott) and Reg Colden (Edith); and his brothers-in-law, Robert McPherson (Carol) and Clarence McPherson.

He is survived by: his parent Ida Colden; his children, Paul Colden, Nancy King (Mike) and Barbara Ross (Norman); his sisters-in-law, Ruby Moon (late Wilbert), Laurna McPherson and Blanche Labelle (Leo); his grandchildren, Lisa, Michelle (Dutton), Jillian (Mark), Kirk (Lyndi), Bobbi-Jo (Chris) and Karré (Ted); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Hunter, Harlie-Jane, Jasmine, Nadia, Josh, Kylie and Cooper; his great great grandchild Lundyn; and his friends, Barb Blaind, John, Barb Allison, Jim, Ardith Armstrong, Minnie and Earl Root. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
