He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Aileen; and his brother-in-law Al Traylen. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Gilbert; his daughters, Tanis Gilbert (Jean-François Claude) and Kate Gilbert (Brian Scarcello); his grandchildren, Madeleine, Robert, Finn and Norah; his sisters, Elizabeth Gilbert and Joan Traylen; and his nephews, Ross Traylen (Laura) and Gilbert "Gibby" Traylen (Kathryn).
The family requests those wishing to express sympathy to consider making a directed donation for pancreatic cancer research in Bob's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
