He was predeceased by: his sons, Donald and Robbie; his parents, Wilbert Walt and Maxine Walt; and his brother Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Jennifer Schwab (Jim) and Gwendolyn Olson (Gary); his grandchildren, Nicole Hallyburton (Jeramie), Mathew Schwab (Jessika), Adam and Carolyn Olson; his great grandchildren, Violet, Diana and Evelyn; and his siblings, David Walt (Gloria), Carl Walt and Angela Johnson (Peter). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
