Sandra Sheil Obituary

We announce the death of Sandra Sheil (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on July 7, 2026. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Ken (Ford); her parents, Daniel Tysick and Dorothy Tysick of Perth; Jeannie Squires (Larry). She is survived by: her children, Glenn (Mickie) of Quinte West and Thomas (late Lisa) of Cherry Valley; her siblings, Linda Closs (Bill), Marlene Toner (late Willie), Eldwin (Elva), Dale (Pauline), Gary (late Joan) and Brian (Karmel); and her friends, John, Gail MacSteven, Ray, Ejna Best, Jim, Shirley Norrie, Peter, Anne Balog, Barb, Jerry Hollywood, Harold, Cathy Dunlop, Ron and Keitha Leavitt.

While strict and "old school", she was beloved by her students and even with her Alzheimer's, remembered every student she taught and was able to name each when shown her class pictures.
