In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Scott had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Scott may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William "Bill" Lawson and Jean Lawson; his children, Katelyn Lawson (JohnRoss Woodland) and Gavin Lawson (Kayla Kelly); and his grandchildren, Adelynn Woodland and Maeve Lawson.

Memorial donations can be made in Scott's name to Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory (PEPtBO.ca).

“We enjoyed Scott’s friendship for many years. As kids I’d hop the fence to join him playing tabletop hockey or swimming. We were teammates on Maple hockey/baseball teams. In our 20s we travelled back and forth to each other’s homes. He was the best man at our wedding. Catherine introduced him to birding. We canoed, camped, played games and debated. We lost touch, but that certainly doesn’t diminish the many good memories we have of Scott. Our condolences. David and Catherine Cook”
