With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sofija Nestorovski of Belleville, Ontario, whose life came to an end on November 9, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dimitros Christos and Stefana Christos; her husband Petro Nestorovski; and her granddaughter Devree Simons. She is survived by: her children, Charlie Nestorovski (Gloria), Peter Nestorovski, Krisa Simons, Dragan Nestorovski, Toko Nestorovski (Paul), Basey Nestorovski (Dave), Jeannie Murray (late Bob) and Tommy Nestorovski. She is also survived by thirteen beautiful great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Belleville (80 Highland Ave, Belleville, ON K8P3R4). A prayer was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (70 Harder Dr, Belleville, ON K8P5J7). A burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Belleville Cemetery (631 Dundas St W, Belleville, ON K8N4Z3).
If desired, memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, the Canadian Red Cross and/or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada (cheque's only) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
