As Stephen departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Stephen. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his son Jonathon (Heather Wemp); his sisters, Gail Byrd (Ron) and Gloria Woodward; and his cousins, Janet Menzies (Ian) and Elaine Mills (late Karl).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burke Funeral Home (150 Church St, Belleville, ON K8N3B9).
Donations in Stephen's name to SPCA or SickKids Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
