She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Carreau and Norma Carreau; and her siblings, Peter and Jane Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Rachael Thompson (Steve Harding) of Orono, Kristy Thompson of Belleville and Brad Thompson of Courtice; her grandson Jacob; her siblings, Daniel Carreau (Annette), Cathy Emerson (Don) and Nancy Breckenridge; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Carreau and Moe Lewis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Susan's Life will be held when COVID restrictions ease.

An avid animal lover, donations in Susan's memory can be made to either the Quinte Humane Society, or Loyalist Humane Society.
