With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Aloysius Weir (Belleville, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Aloysius Weir to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Weir and Elizabeth Weir (Therese); and his brothers, Richard, Liam and Eamonn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bernadette and Joseph; and his sons, Richard and Stephen. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steele Funeral Home (30 Moira St W, Belleville, ON K8P1S2). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (399 Victoria Ave, Belleville, ON K8N2E7). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Prayers St. James Cemetery. A reception will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Steele Family Centre (20 Moira St W, Belleville, ON K8P1S2).
