He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sally, Jeanette, Winnie, Betty, Rose, Walter and John.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Scott (Liseanne), Matt (Kerri), Jessica MacDonald and Nathan (Samantha); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Anna, Adison, Griffin, Harper, Riley, Cooper, Trent and Logan; and his siblings, Ruby Scharger and Gene MacDonald.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
