He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnþrúður Goodman (Arnprudur) and Sigtryggur Goodman; and his siblings, Pálmi Goodman (Irene), Gunnlaugur Goodman (Kristine), Oli Goodman (Margaret), Dora Dennis (Murray), Lilja Zirk (Leander), Kristin Williams (Elwyn), Þórey, Thorey Blow, Gerða and Gerda St. Louis.
He is survived by: his children, David Goodman (Karen), Sherry Rodrigue (Gary) and Douglas Goodman (Frederica); and his grandchildren, Michelle, Brian, Matthew and Erica.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #110 (19 Quinte St, Trenton, ON K8V3S7).
