Virgil Eugene Ralph Obituary

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Virgil Ralph in his 94th year on December 6, 2022.
Virgil was the beloved husband of Kay Jackson.
Predeceased by first wife, Mae Ralph and infant son, Kendall. Father of Karen Cook (Steve), Pete Ralph (Heather), and Terry Ralph (Lise). Grandfather of Darryl Cook, Jen Cook, Alyssa Ralph, Britt Ralph, and Ty Ralph and great grandfather of Liv & Soph Sangster and Millie Powers.
Virgil was predeceased by his longtime partner, Faye Prentice. He will be deeply missed by his son, Steve Prentice, and fondly remembered by his grandson, Tadd Prentice.

Virgil endeared himself to many through his gentlemanly demeanor and generous spirit. He was always willing to drive people to appointments no matter how far. He loved to treat others to pumpkin squares, coconut cream pie and Dooher’s Donuts. Virgil will be sadly missed by his many friends, especially Terry McKenna, Angie Gillard and Blaine Goodwin.
The family is grateful for the compassionate care and support provided by Dr Nadia Knarr, the staff of Belleville General Hospital, Kingston General Hospital, Home & Community Care Southeast, Hospice Prince Edward and the many other healthcare practitioners who were so very thoughtful during Virgil’s final days. Special thanks to Kerry Anne Forsythe H&CCSE for going above and beyond the call of duty.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the activity room in the basement of 350 Front Street (McNabb Towers), Belleville from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 10.
