He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Empey and Laura Empey; his spouse Faye Cooney-Empey; his children, Clinton Empey and Nicholas Empey (Haili); his grandchildren, Elliot, Nicholas and Olivia; and his siblings, Shirley Pulfer (late Wayne), Heather Empey (Richard Provost), Kathy Kutryk (late Barry), Roy Empey (Bunny), Kevin Empey (Julie), Joanne Morrison, Rosemary Empey (Rick) and Rick Empey.
