He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsay Empey and Verna Empey; and his brothers, Ron and Billy Empey. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Donna Empey; his sons, Gary Empey (Randi), David Empey (Sue), Randy Empey (Tammy) and Scott Empey (Lisa); and his brother Ross Empey. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
