Wietse Sieger Vandermeer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wietse Sieger Vandermeer (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on June 4, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Auke Vandermeer; his former wife Antje (Gorter); his wife Jantje (Vandervelde); his siblings, Hans (Mina), Fetje (Wieger), Sieger (Griet), Piet, Oeds and Tilly (late Theun) of Bowmanville; and his sister-in-law Kanau of Holland.

He is survived by: his parent Jantje Duursma; his children, Anne of Zoeten, Arnold (Cheryl), Hans (Cheryl) and Jennie; his daughter-in-law Monica of Belleville; his grandchildren, Eric (Jen), Sean (Kathy), David (Sarah) of Zoeten, Leanne Theriault (Ryan), Craig Vandermeer (Brandi), Laura Zegouras (George), Krista Vandermeer and Melissa Hinterberger (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Rebecca Buxton, Madeline Buxton, Athena Zegouras, Ana Zegouras, Nico Vandermeer, Teo Vandermeer, Amber, Bella of Zoeten, Abbie, William of Zoeten, Olivia and Scarlett of Zoeten. He is also survived by his stepchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren.

Donations to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation or Belleville General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
