He was predeceased by: his parents, Biard Embury and Clara Steenburg of Belleville; his wife Barbara Asselstine; his grandchildren, Indigo, Claudia, Sierra McNulty, Molly and Iris; his siblings, Hazel Killen, Jean Bauerlein, Barb Duby, Clarence Asselstine and Bud Embury; and his mother-in-law Ruth McMillan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Yvonne McNulty and Maria Asselstine.
Patrick looked back on his local sports experiences with great pride and was later inducted into the Quinte Sports Hall of Fame for his contributions to the community.
