He was predeceased by: his son Lawrence; his parents, Leo McAuliffe and Evelyn McAuliffe; and his sister Vina Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Karen Vanderpost and Pat Hennigar (Paul Wildsmith); his grandchildren, Kristal (Eric), Adam (Madelyn), Elyse (Noel), Richard (Gemma), Paul and Whitley; his brother Joe (late Alice); and his siblings-in-law, Hilda Jones and Allan Sullivan (Donna).
