He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Taylor and Deegan; his stepchildren, Brody and Gabby Ross; his parents, Linda Romano (Elio) and Peter Grills (Cheryl); his siblings, Julia, Evan, Keith, Kevin and Richard; and his grandmother Rosa Rinaldi.

A Celebration of his life will be announced in the spring 2021 due to Covid-19.
