He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Spence and Hilda Spence (Bowman); and his grandson Craig Spence. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann (Zimmer); his children, Darrin (Susan), Brendan (Janee), Jen (Brad) and Jordan (Michelle); his grandchildren, Devin (Hannah), Holden Spence, Grant, Ashlynn Spence, Brady, Cooper, Spencer Heschuk, Cameron and Carson Spence; his great grandchildren, Mason, Hattie, Hazel and Sutton; and his siblings, Walter Spence (late Helen) and Rosemary Larkin (late Tim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Benny to the Craig Spence Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
