She was predeceased by : her husband John Peter Van Haren. She is survived by : her sons, Patrick (Karin), Steven (Jessica) and Scott (Lori); her grandchildren, Christopher, Scott, Michaela, Nicholas, Theodor and Alexandria; her siblings, Albert Toonen (Mieke), Jose Cras, Reitje Toonen (Ans) and Willem Toonen (Daantje); and her siblings-in-law, Adrian Van Haren (Marisa) of Ridgetown, Annie van Oostveen (Jan), Harrie Van Haren (Truus), Jos Van Haren (Kiek) and Dora Van Haren of Holland. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Donations made in memory of Betty to the Alzheimer Society Chatham-Kent, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Ridgetown Rotary Club would be appreciated.
