He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Rutherford and Marynel Rutherford (Ridley); and his brothers, Barney and Peter. He is survived by: his children, Jane (Dennis), Brandon (Lisa Campbell) and Jenner.
Due to the covid times, there will be a private family service, Donations made be made to Maple City Baptist Church, Chatham or the Blenheim Freedom Library and Military Museum.
