He was predeceased by : his parents, Brown Cooper and Myrtle Cooper; his parents-in-law, Karl and Anna Gross; his sister Jane Allan (Bill Allan); and his son Luke.

He is survived by : his significant other Barbara; his children, Liz, Andrew (Jenn) and Paula (Dave); his grandchildren, Grayson (Emma) and Morgan Goldhawk; his children, Jordan, Dallas, Olivia, Jack Cooper, Cole, Jake, Quin, Kenzy, Tanner and Santana; his brothers, Paul (Marigje) and Harold (Pam); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Gross (Joanne) of Mildmay, Helen Forbes-King (Gordon) of Texas and Jane Sachs (Rob) of Morrisburg.
