She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret (Balmer) and Percy Secord; her stepfather Earle Galbraith; and her brother-in-law Camiel. She is survived by: her husband Paul; her sons, John (Lucie) and Tom (Karen); her grandchildren, Hannah Risdon (Tom), Jonathan, Cloe (Nick), Logan (Courtney) and Brayden (Miranda); her great grandchildren, Jack and Scottie Risdon; her siblings, Dorothy Whalls (George) and Gerald Secord (Heather); her siblings-in-law, Joe (Betty), Margaret Seliga and Mary Lenover (Dave); and her stepsister Ruth Ann. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations made in memory of Joyce to the Chatham Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
