She was predeceased by: her parents, W. G. Smith (Bill) and Dora Jean Smith (Findlay); and her husband Glen Brown. She is survived by: her siblings, Karen Richards (Lee), Randy Smith (Janet), Brett Smith (Lynn) and Sydney Lewis (Paul); her children, Mike (Brownie), Lisa, Amy (Dan Lozon) and Ange (JayDee Hack); her grandchildren, Denver, Bennett, Niya Brown, Riley O'Sullivan, Zoey, Jack Moore, Elliot Hack, Trish and Danni Lozon; and her great grandchild Charlotte.
Known affectionately as "Nana" to many, Leslie's final act of generosity was to donate her body to science—a reflection of her deeply giving nature. In lieu of a formal celebration or gifts, Leslie's wish was simple: please consider donating your time or gratitude to the Chatham-Kent Hospice, a foundation that made this journey peaceful and comfortable.
